Coordinator and Volunteer Physician, Global Health Mission- Cornwall Regional Hospital, Jamaica West Indies. This global medical mission is structured to:

  1. Expose the EM resident to underprivileged, underserved Caribbean population
  2. Engage residents to EM practice in an international setting with regards to health care policies, the role of Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and the role of the EM physician in managing A&E.
  3. Provide EM residents the opportunity to see and treat tropical disease states that they may not encounter in their current practice setting.
  4. Establish lecture opportunities for EM residents rotating in A&E at CRH on topics of importance to A & E faculty, house staff, nurses and administrators.

Emory Safety Alliance (ESA), a volunteer group that serves the community by centralizing Emory's efforts on Safety Promotion and Injury Prevention. The overall purpose of the Emory Safety Alliance (ESA) is to create and sustain a group that embodies the idea of a “culture of safety” in alignment with Emory University’s Strategic Plan.  The ESA maintains Emory's Safe Communities America designation, and serves as a means for documenting data sources, programming, and initiatives related to safety promotion and injury reduction to ensure centralized collaboration
