Our Department of Emergency Medicine is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our patients, the careers of our students and residents, the safety of our community, and the health of the world through our contributions in clinical service, teaching and research. We provide care to close to 270,000 patients annually in five metro Atlanta Emergency Departments, including the region's primary Level 1 trauma center and the region’s leading adult and pediatric referral centers.

- State-of-the-art community hospital in North Fulton County staffed by EM physicians (The Emory Clinic and ESA). EM partnered with EHC and TEC to develop Emory Specialty Associates (ESA), a new community practice group, to provide staffing for this facility
